Focus 2024 Multifocal Cataract & Refractive Symposium
I was very honoured to be invited as part of the steering committee to run this very practical educational meeting “FOCUS” organised by Alcon on 23 rd and 24 th March. All the presentations were very relevant to my day to day clinical life. All the speakers did justice to their presentations on AI/ Management of Astigmatism and Presbyopia/ How to fix refractive surprises/ Launch of Clareon Vivity intraocular lens to help patients wanting less reliance on glasses.
One of my talks was on my early results and benefits to patients of operating at normal intraocular pressures rather than high pressures with the new active sentry technology in phaco machines which we have at Victoria Street Private Hospital.
